I am an Assistant Professor (RTD-A, S.S.D. STAT-03/B) in Statistics for Social Sciences at the Department of Economics and Statistics (DiSES), University of Naples Federico II.
My scientific activity sits at the intersection of advanced statistical methods, text mining, and data science, with applications spanning the mapping of scientific knowledge, the development of decision-support tools in academic, healthcare, and economic policy contexts.
I obtained my PhD in Social Sciences and Statistics (Dept. of Social Sciences, University of Naples Federico II) in 2025, with a thesis titled "From Scientific Knowledge Synthesis to Cutting-Edge Discovery: The Innovative Potential of Automatic Text Summarization in Scientific Literature" (Supervisor: Prof. Massimo Aria).
I am a member of the academic spin-off K-Synth and co-author of the software TALL – Text Analysis for ALL, an R package and Shiny application officially released on CRAN with over 3,000 installations. I also contribute to the development of bibliometrix, one of the leading tools for scientometric analysis globally.
I have authored several scientific publications, including papers in Fascia A international journals, and presented at national and international conferences. I am also active in the scientific community as Associate Editor and reviewer for leading indexed journals.
